In the tradition of naming all the facilities of the hotel beginning with the letter ‘K’ (Sinhalese letter Ka), the name of the library translates into English as “rumours”. The ‘Katakatha Library’ has a range of books on Sri Lanka including books on Sigiriya.
Although the Library is another place you should not spend a lot of time at, we offer this service to our guests free of charge. You can view the 49 awards won by Heritance Kandalama at this library. The library also offers a small cosy environment in which a small corporate event such as training for a limited group can be carried out.
