Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions mentioned herewith are applicable for reservations made on the worldwide Heritance Hotels website hotel reservation system. This includes reservations at Heritance Aarah. These terms and conditions do not apply to travel agent or operator bookings; for which the applicable policies and procedures will apply.

Reservations may be made by an individual or party for minimum one (01) to maximum 10 rooms. To reserve over 10 rooms, please write to res.aarah@heritancehotels.com.

Reservations once confirmed, are binding.

 

Flexible travel for a hassle-free experience

We remain committed to creating an inspired travel experience for you, our valued guests. Given the current situation globally, we have updated our Cancellation Policy to better assist you. In the event of a COVID-19 related travel bans or restriction at your point of departure, the resorts will provide a full refund for a pre-paid reservation and/or waive all applicable penalties. In the event that you are in-residence at the resort and unable to depart the resort destination on schedule due to a COVID-19 travel ban, health or quarantine restriction, the resort will extend your stay based on a discretionary reduced rate off Best Available Rate (BAR)

 

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to travel or utilise the accommodation and services previously confirmed via email, cancellation fees may apply.

A change in the length of stay or dates of your reservation is considered a revision. Revisions are subject to availability and rate changes; and may also constitute a cancellation. In case of shortened length of stay, the cancellation policy will apply for the cancelled nights. If a booking deposit is to be refunded (at the discretion of the Management), please note that any credit card surcharge or currency fluctuations are unable to be refunded.

Cancellation, early departure, and no-show fees incurred are the sole responsibility of the client and will be charged accordingly as follows:

 

Stay period 2021

Policies mentioned below are applicable.

For travel between 1 to 30 September 2021 Cancellations that are made less than three (03) days prior to confirmed day of stay in any of the above mentioned resorts will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total room charges.
For travel between 1 to 31 October 2021 Cancellations that are made less than seven (07) days prior to confirmed day of stay in any of the above mentioned resorts will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total room charges.
For travel between 1 November to 26 December 2021 Cancellations that are made less than three (03) days prior to confirmed day of stay in any of the above mentioned resorts will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total room charges.
For travel between 27 December 2021 and 10 January 2022 Cancellations that are made less than 14-days prior to confirmed day of stay in any of the above mentioned resorts will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total room charges.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stay period 2022

Policies mentioned below is applicable.

For travel between 11 January to 30 April 2022 Cancellations that are made less than 14-days prior to confirmed day of stay in any of the above mentioned resorts will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total room charges.
For travel between 1 May to 30 October 2022 Cancellations that are made less than seven (07) days prior to confirmed day of stay in any of the above mentioned resorts will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total room charges.
For travel between 1 November to 26 December 2022 Cancellations that are made less than three (03) days prior to confirmed day of stay in any of the above mentioned resorts will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total room charges.
For travel between 27 December 2022 and 10 January 2023 Cancellations that are made less than 14-days prior to confirmed day of stay in any of the above mentioned resorts will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total room charges.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For cancellations shared with Reservations via email prior to the aforementioned periods will be refunded.

 

Early departures or no-shows

A fee equivalent to 100% per night plus taxes for early departures applies. In the event of a no-show (i.e. if you neither use nor cancel your reservation), a fee equivalent to the value of the entire stay plus taxes and one-way transfer will be incurred. Early departures or cancellations due to inclement weather are fully chargeable.

 

Payments

The resorts accept payments only in Cash (USD / Euro) or with Credit Card (Visa / MasterCard / AMEX). Other payment methods such as union pay are also accepted for in-resort payment only. cheques will not be accepted.

Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking-in / making payment at the resort. If you are making payment using another cardholder’s credit card, please contact the property as the property share the required documentation for same.

Environmental Tax

A special environmental tax (Green Tax) of USD 6, per person, per night will be charged for arrivalsThis will be collected upon arrival.

Travel Insurance

All resorts reserve the right not to provide exemptions from its cancellation policy for medical or personal matters, inclement weather, or other circumstances. It is recommended to purchase adequate travel insurance prior to confirmation and acceptance of terms, conditions, and cancellation policy.

Rate changes

Please be advised that service charges, fees and taxes are subject to change at any time without prior notice in accordance with the law. The prevailing tax rates at the time of stay will be charged.

 

Arrival and Departure

Check-in time

Check-in time at the resorts are at 14.00 hrs/02.00 p.m. Early check-in is subject to availability on date of arrival and may include additional charges.

Checkout time

Checkout time at the resorts are at 12.00 hrs/12.00 noon. Late checkout is subject to availability and payments.

Arrival Information

Our Airport Representatives will welcome guests at the arrival terminal in the Airport where they will be holding the resort’s sign board. They will guide you to the appropriate transfer vessel to begin your journey to the resort.

Our counter number in the airport is counter E2.

 

Transfers

For the health and safety of our guests and associates, the resort do not allow guests to utilize transfers which do not belong to the resorts. Please note that the transfers will only be arranged on a combined basis.

Please note that the seaplane will only fly during daylight hour.

The transfers are made by a third-party vendor and is subject to their terms and conditions.

 – If your flight arrives before 15.30 hrs/03.30 p.m., transfer to the resort will be arranged the same day

 – If your flight arrives after 15.30 hrs/03.30 p.m., you will need to make arrangement for an overnight stay in Malé

 – If your flight departure is prior to 08.30 hrs/a.m., you will need to make arrangement for an overnight stay in Malé

 – Seaplane transfers will not take place during adverse weather conditions

 

There will be a waiting time of up to three hours for seaplane transfers. This may vary depending on weather and other external conditions. During such times, guests will be accommodated at the Adaaran Lounge.

Transfer costs are subject to change without notice, based on vessel provider.

Due to severe weather conditions, if a guest cannot be transferred to the resort from Malé (only), the resort will relocate the guest in the city in a tourist accommodation, based on availability.

Transfer timings and duration mentioned in any and all collateral are approximate; and may change due to conditions such as weather, tides, rough seas, etc.

 

Luggage Transfer

For seaplane transfers, on occasion, luggage may not be transported on the same flight as the passenger. It may be forwarded on a later flight or via speedboat.
Luggage allowance for seaplane transfer is 20 kg for main luggage and 5 kg for hand luggage per person. Guests may incur additional charge for excess luggage.

 

Disclaimer

Please note that transfers mentioned above are conducted by a third-party supplier. The resort cannot be held liable for loss or damages of any item.

The resort cannot be held responsible for disruptions, delays or cancellations of transfers as a result of adverse weather conditions, such as (but not limited to) unsuitable tides, sea conditions, weather patterns. Cost incurred due to such incident are non-refundable.

 

Other Information

Child and Infant Policy

Junior guests under the age of two (02) years are considered ‘Infants’, while those between the ages of two (02) and 11-years are considered ‘Children’.

Subject to the maximum occupancy applicable by room, child rates will apply for accommodation. Appropriate child rates in accordance with the resort will also apply for transfers, special F&B events and other.

Minimum age

There must be at least one guest of minimum 18-years of age, with a valid credit card, present upon check-in at the resort. This guest must be holding the payment for the travelling party against this credit card.
