Our main restaurant is on the sixth floor, with full-length glass windows providing superlative views over the lake. Sometimes you can dine outside, accompanied by the haunting flute music of Siripala.
By day you might spot a purple-rumped sunbird sipping nectar from the flowering shrubs planted outside; in the evening, candlelight reflects off the carefully crafted metal tree sculptures, creating a more intimate ambience.
There is always something going on at our chef action stations, from waffles and omelettes at breakfast to Mongolian stir fries or barbecues on our theme nights.
There’s no better way to start the day than by exploring our extensive buffet breakfast, starting with daily-changing fruits and juices, cereals and breads. Waffles, hoppers and omelettes are cooked to order, or you can choose from sausages, scrambled egg, grilled beef and other hot options.
If you’d like to try a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast, help yourself to milk rice or pittu, served up with fish and chicken curries, dahl, chickpeas and grated coconut.
Breakfast is served 6.30-9.30am.
At lunchtime our buffet again spans the globe, offering the best from east and west.
Lunch is served 12.30-2.30pm.
On our popular theme nights our chefs really go to town, bringing you delectable delicacies from China, Mongolia and Italy as well as Sri Lanka. And then there’s our famous barbecue.
To go with this there is always a wide selection of sophisticated salads, canapés and home-made breads. But make sure you save room for dessert – our beautifully presented puddings, gateaux and ice creams are the perfect way to finish the evening.
Dinner is served 7.30-9.30pm. Dress code is smart casual (no shorts please).
